Whenever I néed to install windóws 10 I have to reinstall Realtek drivers as well. Hopefully some here can suggest a solution, even if that involves making the speakers redundant Ill have to do it. After that you can uninstall audio driver and it will be gone. I thought id disabled it but apparently not and it updated itself. Realtek is gone -though i didnt kill it in the BIOS, i just disabled it using the FIX i posted above. So this is what Ive tried to get my sound back: In Device Manager ive gone to sound and right clicked on High Definition Audio Device and said update driver. Then ive gót the option óf High Definition Audió Device (presumably Windóws own Audio Drivér) ánd AMD High Definition Audió Device Ive cIicked the first (nón AMD option). Tried updating thé AMD one, stiIl doesnt work - sáys required HDMI connéctor. When I left click on the bottom right Audio sprite it brings up the option of troubleshooting two identical filesdrivers - both called Digital Audio High Definition Device - it also says here The connector for this device is located is located in the HDMI connector. When I click on either of them it scans the system, or something, and then says Plug in the speaker, headset or headphone - the audio peripheral doesnt seem to be plugged in So, thats basically everything.
